A commuter’s haiku

3rd November 2006

I thought this up on my way in to work this morning, although I managed to ride in during a break in the rain today.

Pedaling through rain
A driver passes and looks
We both think: “you’re nuts.”

    hehe… I like the phrase “during a break in the rain” if I understood that with respect to Seattle and specially when the daylight time adjusted.

    Hi,

    I just saw some of your powershell posts. In the new powershell 1.0 the following command does not work:

    Trying to get the subdirectories alone under a directory (no files)

    get-childitem . -Name | where {$_.PsIsContainer}

    PS 1.0 dosen’t seem to recognize this variable “{$_.PsIsContainer}” whereas in Powershell RC1, this worked.

    If you have any insights into this, feel free to email me.

    Thanks,
    Bharat

    PS: Sorry to post this in your blog
