Is "tire" one syllable or two? It rhymes with "hire," but hire and higher are homonyms and we think of higher as a two syllable word. Dire (as in Dire Straits) and dyer (somebody who dyes) are similar. I'm not being pedantic -- I'm just being tired and weird.

I'll post the link Sunday if I get around to it, though it might actually happen Monday. Now it's time for bed. Good night.</description>
